Materials Science

The Master degree programme of Materials science of the TU Darmstadt is held in English. There are compulsory courses during the first two semesters in order to enhance the students' knowledge in materials science. Starting right from the 1st semester, the course contains a steadily increasing part of research conducted in lab practicals held in the respective research group. The large selection of mandatory elective courses allows the students to independently choose the focus of their studies. Optionally, the 3rd semester is an ideal time for an semester abroad that can be easily integrated into the degree programme.
